Certifications & Completed Seminars
My name is Krista, and I'm a Certified Cat Behaviour Consultant (CCBC) through the International Association of Animal Behaviour Consultants (IAABC). This is a credential held by only three professionals in all of Canada, and it reflects my commitment to providing evidence-based, compassionate care. You can find me in the official IAABC directory here: IAABC directory.
My journey into the world of feline well-being began in childhood, surrounded by the comforting purrs of at least two beloved cats at all times. This lifelong passion blossomed into a professional calling, starting at the Toronto Humane Society, where I specialized in feline enrichment and later, behaviour modification. My expertise deepened as an award-winning Cat Behaviour Counsellor with Toronto Cat Rescue, where I helped countless cats thrive in both home and rescue environments.
As a Certified Cat Behaviour Consultant and a Fear Free Certified Professional, dedicated to helping cats and their families build harmonious relationships through evidence-based, compassionate care. My approach is rooted in veterinary-endorsed methods and the latest animal behavioural science. I believe in empowering families across Canada and around the world with personalized support, offering virtual consultations nationwide and in-home visits locally here in Toronto.

Which of your supports is right for me?
That's exactly what the initial consultation is for. During our first meeting, we'll discuss your cat's history, their specific behaviours, and your goals. From there, we'll create a customized plan together that fits your unique situation. This ensures you're not paying for support you don't need—we find the right solution for you and your cat.
Can any cat be trained?
Yes, absolutely! Whether they're a kitten or a senior, any cat can learn new behaviours. The key isn't about teaching them tricks but about understanding what motivates them and making the process a positive, fun experience. With patience and consistency, we can work together to achieve the changes you're looking for.
