Which of your services is right for me?
Great question! We can figure out together during our complimentary assessment. You will tell us about the behaviour(s) concerning you. We will customize a plan tailored to you and your cat. Set realistic goals and help you execute them in as timely a manner as possible. As they say, not one size fits all.
Is my cat too old to be trained?
You can train your older cats. It's never too late! After we get to the root of the problem behaviour, We will work on exercising and retraining their brain. If whether it is a new or pre-existing behaviour, with patience and consistency we will get them where you want them.
My Story

As a Certified Cat Trainer and Behaviour Specialist, I try to remain on the cutting edge of animal behavioural science, offering the most effective, veterinarian-backed training methodologies in North America. Providing private virtual consultations nationally and in-home locally to fit your specific needs, Trained and equipped to help you achieve your goals, litter box issues, unwanted scratching, anxiety and aggression—no pet is untrainable.
My love of cats started at a young age, having personally had at least two cats in my home all of my life. Many years ago I started at the Toronto Humane Society providing Feline Enrichment. I then moved into feline behaviour with a focus on behaviour modification (TLC cases), later expanding my role to Feline Behaviour Counsellor with the Toronto Cat Rescue.
Upon my journey with these organizations, I became heavily invested in learning more about cat behaviour and animal welfare. My journey to becoming a force-free and positive reinforcement Cat Behaviour Consultant started there. I enrolled in the International Cat Care Advanced Feline Behaviour for Professionals program in hopes of gaining an in-depth understanding of Applied Behaviour Analysis as well as a foundation of its application to Cat Behaviour Modification, later completing a certification in cat training with Animal Behaviour College.
Among other courses and growing continuing education, I became a member of the International Association of Animal Behaviour Consultants (IAABC) as well as a member of the Pet Professional Guild (PPG)
When I am not busy helping create harmonious relationships I am in people's homes caring for their cat(s) with Rover Pet Sitting

When we got Merlin from the rescue, he was biting us all the time. He had eye infections and I could not clean his eye discharge off his face or give him his eye drops prescribed by the vet. He did not allow us to get near him either. I reached out for help and Krista responded to me quickly. She gave me a lots of tips how to work with Merlin to build up his trust, when to go to the vet and what questions to ask, how to transition him out of the safe room etc. Within 6 weeks, Merlin has stopped biting us out of fear.
